How can you have a Memphis "Top 10" without Jerry Lawler, at least being on the list. I think that all of us would have a different "Top Ten". Just for the fun of starting trouble here is my top ten in no order.
1. Alan Steel
2. Dustin Starr
3. Derrick King
4. Jerry Lawler
5. Spell Binder
6. Jon Michael
7. Christian Jacobs (If he has no medical problems - I'm not up to date on that)
8. Tim Grind
9. Poker Face
10. (he is running a wrestling school in West Memphis for the life of me, I can not remember his name tonight - I'll think of it soon, and I know the whole family
)
I could add another ten to the list - Starting with Robert Gibson. Psycho, Big Daddy LaPointe, Motley Cruz,
I'd even toss in Tasha Simone. She can work a crowd and put butts in the seats. SirMo can still work a match and put butts in the seat also. If I wanted a "grimmick match", give me Seth Knight and TGB. Super Man Jason Reed can work also. There are probably 30 to 40 good workers in this area that could be in the top ten at any giv en time. It is no secret that I am not a huge fan of the X division. I am old school and too old to change. But Austin Lane can work as good a match as any of the others, if he is booked right and allowed to work.
Ok - I don't know who is on this list, so this could get real interesting. Can we have at Gentleman Jim Casey as a Manager of one of these? Then we can get into the top ten tag-teams. Just not tonight

The name that I could not remember last night is - Ken Wayne.

I agree with Hal, but I might throw Kevin White into the mix.
I would definitely add Kevin White to the list.
I admit that I have only seen Keven White work on TV. But, he has yet to show me that he can work a good match. He has yet to show me that he can put butts in the seats. I don't know who thought up his latest grimmic but I think it is nuts.
So if you add him to my list, who are you going to take off??
I agree, you need to be a real fan of Indy wresting to know one or two of those on my list. But, I honestly, think that any of them could put more butts in the seats that Kevin White could. I left off some really good wresters that can really draw already. Workers like Motley Cruz, who can create heat by just walking out. I left off Flex who is a good worker. I left off a bunch of outstanding tag team wresters. Rude has the best drop kick in this area.
I am not going to stop yelling - it is the booking that is making a lot of current Indy wresters in this area, not look their best. Then there are guys like Vold who I have never seen work. He might be on the top of the list. TGB is another outstanding worker that I could put ahead of Kevin White.
