----My impression of him is that is better than Corey doing play by play, but he is a bit nasal. Not sure if the Memphis Wrestling viewers would enjoy his voice or not. He does know his holds and comes off very professional. What do you think??
Never write on this thing, only read the 1wrestling.com column, but this seemed like a good cause because Corey Maclin is terrible and i dont know how anyone can think he isn't.
Taylor sounded excellent, not sure where y'all are callin him nasally, sounded clear to me, and definately knows his moves, has a great voice (sounds alot like Joey Styles, with great delivery) When i hear nasally i think of Johnathan Coachman or the guy from Everybody Loves Raymond, and this guy isn't anything like that,..at times i think he sounds like Randall from Clerks 2, which is more of a Jersey accent.
High tempo, doesn't overtalk, not perfect but definately one of the better announcers i've heard on the indies, i don't see why Memphis Wrestling doesn't use him, it's a waste of talent. Oh wait, thats their specialty.
I'd easily put his talent over some guys who are probably making more money, like Don West (someone pass him a cough drop), Josh Matthews (why was he allowed to host Velocity?), Johnathan Coachman (great personality, terrible announcing voice), and of course Corey Maclin. i'd compare Taylor to a hybrid of Scott Hudson and Joey Styles, with almost a 1990's Vince Mcmahon delivery at times.
But then again, calling a decent match helps to, i have to see more of his stuff before I start betting on his WWE career. Anyone know how to get a hold of him?
Sorry this was long, but we need better announcers and this guy seemed to be a great step in the right direction..no disrespect to others.

A little bit nasally but not too bad. Corey defintely needs someone with him.

He sounds like a Radio DJ, I do not like it.
I am a worker based in the North East US looking for contact info for the folks running Memphis and the surrounding areas.
If anyone knows how to get ahold of the booker/promoter for Memphis please hit me up on myspace at www.myspace.com/enterthelion
I would hire him if I had my way with memphis wrestling and put him with the announcer who worked for KAW/MCW wrestling.
